To Our Pittsburgh Folk Festival Member Groups & Friends:
We are excited to announce a brand-new event – “A Taste of the Pittsburgh Folk Festival” – to be held Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the beautiful grounds of Our Lady of Victory Maronite Church, Beechview.
This one-day celebration will highlight the incredible ethnic diversity and culinary traditions that make Pittsburgh’s cultural community so unique. The event will shine a spotlight on the many
flavors, traditions and performances that have long been part of the Pittsburgh Folk Festival’s proud legacy.
We invite your group to participate in “A Taste of the Pittsburgh Folk Festival” in one or more of the following ways:
- Food “Booth”/Table (10 x 10 space) Fee: $125 + 10% of sales
- Vendor Space (One 8 ft. Table for crafts, cultural items, etc.) Fee: $75 + 10% of sales
Or, feature your nationality or cultural traditions in a non-revenue generating area:
- 10 – 12-minute showcase of dance, music or other cultural expressions
- Cooking demonstration (with written recipe to share)
- Costume Display: Loan one male and one female traditional dress/costume to be displace
for the day (with mannequins or method for freestanding display) - Lead a short session teaching visitors a regional cultural dance
All fees charged will cover costs associated with the planning and presentation of “A Taste of the Pittsburgh Festival.”
